In a significant development, a group marquee investors have acquired a portion of the promoter’s stake in BLS International Services Ltd. (BLS) from the open market on May 18, 2023. BLS, a trusted global tech-enabled services partner for governments, banks, and citizens, confirmed the divestment of 1.12 crore shares by the promoters through open market transactions at a price of ₹ 175.24 per share.
While the promoters remain unwavering in their commitment to the business and its future, the aggregate stake of the promoters/promoter group has decreased to 71.68%from 74.41% of the company’s equity share capital, as stated by BLS International Services Ltd.
This transaction marks the addition of more high-quality institutional shareholders to the company’s ownership, reaffirming the confidence already demonstrated by several existing marquee investors in its long-term growth prospects.
This strategic move is expected to unlock value for shareholders and enhance liquidity in the company’s stock, potentially attracting new investors and improving market perception.
