India has the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem with over 1, 17,254 startups as of 31st Dec 2023. Investors are the pillars of any startup ecosystem apart from the founders. We have compiled a list of the top Women Investors who are making a difference in the startup ecosystem in India.

Aarti Gupta is an accomplished investment strategist with over a decade of experience leading her family office, DM Gupta Family, Jagran Group. Additionally, she holds the position of Chief Investment Officer at Anikarth Ventures, an angel-investing firm dedicated to supporting early-stage startups offering transformative solutions.

With a strong commitment to empowering women founders and entrepreneurs, Aarti actively promotes initiatives focused on women’s financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and job readiness. She serves as the National Head for FICCI FLO Startups, concentrating on women investors and founders. Furthermore, Aarti is affiliated with Jindal Stainless Steels as an independent director.
