Iris Global Delivers 3,800 HP Laptops Worth ₹30 Crore for CAGI Through Delhi Partner Microchip Infotech Systems

Iris Global, one of India’s most trusted and partner-focused IT distribution companies, has successfully executed the delivery of 3,800 HP laptops valued at ₹30 crore to its Delhi-based partner Microchip Infotech Systems, for deployment at the offices of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAGI) across multiple state capitals. The large-scale supply was completed within a record four-week timeframe, reinforcing Iris Global’s reputation for speed, reliability, and seamless project execution.

Government e-Marketplace Tender Executed with Precision

The order, tendered through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform, was awarded to Microchip Infotech Systems, which relied on Iris Global for sourcing and delivery of HP laptops. Each unit comes with a three-year warranty, with installation, operation, and maintenance being managed by Microchip’s engineering teams stationed at the respective CAGI sites.

Microchip Infotech Systems Eyes ₹100 Crore Revenue Milestone

Founded in 1990 as a Wipro partner and later associated with HP in 2000, Microchip Infotech Systems has been collaborating with Iris Global since 2015 to source HP products. With a 55-member team, primarily engineers deployed across client sites, the company reported revenues of ₹65 crore in the previous fiscal and has already achieved ₹50 crore in the first half of the current year.

Microchip is on track to cross the ₹100 crore revenue milestone by FY 2025–26, with nearly 55% of its sourcing expected through Iris Global. The company caters to both corporate and government clients, serving notable names such as RJ Corp, Varun Beverages, Devyani Enterprises, Morepen Laboratories, Jindal Polyfilms, and Subros, as well as public sector giants like BEL, which alone contributes nearly 50% of Microchip’s total turnover.

Strengthening Strategic Collaboration and Credit Support

This year, Microchip has already procured products worth ₹30 crore through Iris Global and expects an additional ₹25 crore in orders in the coming months. Iris Global has extended back-to-back credit support to Microchip, ensuring smooth financial closures and timely execution of large-scale government projects such as the CAGI deployment.

Iris Global Expands Indigenous Product Portfolio Under Make in India Initiative

In line with the Government of India’s Make in India initiative, Iris Global is actively expanding its indigenous product portfolio. The company has recently onboarded Indian innovators such as INP, HLBS, and Exatron for compute, server, and storage solutions, along with networking and cybersecurity specialists including Ruckus, TP-Link, Molex, Infinity Labs, Haltdos, MapleCloud, and Persistent.

By blending global OEM partnerships with domestic innovation, Iris Global enables its partners to access cost-effective, reliable, and future-ready solutions, helping reduce India’s dependency on imports and strengthening the national digital ecosystem.

Driving Digital Transformation Across India

With the trust of over 10,000 partners nationwide, Iris Global continues to power mission-critical projects across government, education, BFSI, telecom, defense, and enterprise sectors. For FY 2025–26, the company is targeting ₹4,000 crore in revenues, driven by its expanding product portfolio, growing public and private sector demand, and strong partner confidence.

The successful delivery of 3,800 HP laptops worth ₹30 crore to CAGI stands as a testament to Iris Global’s partner-first philosophy and operational excellence. Together with Microchip Infotech Systems, the collaboration demonstrates how strategic partnerships can drive large-scale digital transformation in governance, infrastructure, and India’s vision of a self-reliant economy.
