Instagram Upgrades editing tools for Reels to streamline video creation. Users can now enjoy undo and redo functions, offering a more seamless editing experience. In addition, Instagram is testing features that allow users to scale, crop, and rotate individual clips, providing enhanced creative control. To facilitate meme-worthy content, users can now incorporate audio clips from the clip hub, adding a new dimension to Reels.
Voices and Text Options:
Instagram is expanding its text-to-speech capabilities with the addition of 10 new English voices. Users will also have access to six fresh text fonts and styles in various languages, allowing for more diverse and creative expressions. To enhance text visibility, users can now add outlines, providing an additional layer of customization. Audio Access and Streamlined Drafts:
Discovering trending audio is set to become more efficient with Instagram testing new ways to access the audio browser. The drafts feature is getting a makeover, offering users a streamlined view for easier editing. Users can now preview, rename, and schedule drafts in advance, providing a more organized and convenient content creation process.
Stickers and Photo Filters:
Instagram is testing the ability to create custom stickers for Reels and stories, allowing users to use personal photos, videos, or eligible content on the platform. Additionally, new photo filters are introduced, offering options for subtle color edits and expressive styles. This allows users to experiment with various looks, adding a personalized touch to their posts.
Posting and Improved Insights:
The posting process on Instagram has been streamlined, making it easier for users to find necessary tools during the editing phase. Improved insights include a new Reels metric called “Replays,” which now encompasses both Initial Plays and Replays, offering a more comprehensive view of content performance. In the coming months, creators will gain access to an interactive Retention Chart, providing moment-by-moment insights into Reel viewership.
