Airtel Achieves Milestone with Rapid 5G footprint Across Multiple States

Bharti Airtel, a leading telecommunications service provider in India, has made a groundbreaking announcement, revealing that within just one year of the launch of Airtel 5G Plus, the company has amassed over 15.9 million unique 5G customers across various states. Airtel proudly shared specific details for Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Karnataka, and Gujarat, showcasing the widespread adoption and success of its 5G services.

Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, Airtel boasts a user base of over 4.2 million 5G customers within just 12 months of the Airtel 5G Plus launch. The service is now available across all districts in the state, including notable locations such as Ooty, Madurai, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari, and digital landmarks like the M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Chennai and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mahabalipuram.

Punjab

Airtel has gained over 2 million unique 5G customers in Punjab, covering the entire state within the first year of the Airtel 5G Plus launch. The extensive rollout reaches from Chandigarh with its serene Sukhna Lake to historic sites like Jallianwala Baug in Amritsar and the Wagah Border. Additionally, Airtel has connected the village of Qila Raipur, renowned for its Rural Olympics, to the digital superhighway.

Odisha

With a user base exceeding 1.4 million in Odisha, Airtel’s 5G service is now available throughout the state. The rollout spans diverse locations, including the scenic hill station of Daringbadi, the sacred cities of Konark and Bhubaneswar, and the coastal beauties of Gopalpur and Puri. Airtel has also brought popular tourist attractions like Chilika Lake and the heritage village of Raghurajpur onto the digital superhighway.

Airtel has achieved a significant milestone in Karnataka, amassing over 5.1 million unique 5G customers. The service is available across all districts, covering locations such as Kodagu with its lush forests, the historic city of Mysuru, the tech hub of Bengaluru, and the pristine beaches of Mangalore. The renowned UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi and the highest peak in Karnataka, Mullayanagiri in Chikmagalur, are now part of Airtel’s digital superhighway.

In Gujarat, Airtel has garnered a user base of over 2.2 million 5G customers within a year of the Airtel 5G Plus launch. The service spans all districts in the state, connecting diverse locations, including the white sands of the Rann of Kutch, the coastal beauty of Dwarka, the Statue of Unity, and the iconic Atal Bridge. Airtel has also brought the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, the world’s largest cricket stadium, and Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Patan, onto the digital superhighway.
