Apple has expanded its AppleCare+ program in India, introducing new monthly and annual subscription options along with the addition of AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for iPhone. The update, effective from 18 November 2025, gives users greater choice, affordability, and long-term flexibility in protecting their Apple devices.
Enhanced Protection with Theft and Loss Coverage
The newly introduced AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss adds coverage for up to two incidents of theft or loss every year, offering iPhone users significant peace of mind. In addition to theft and loss protection, the plan also includes all the benefits of standard AppleCare+, such as unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery replacement, and 24/7 priority technical support. All repairs are performed using genuine Apple parts at Apple Stores or authorized service providers. Plans under this category start at INR 799.
Simplified Subscription with Monthly and Annual Options
With its latest update, Apple now allows users to subscribe to AppleCare+ through more flexible monthly and annual plans, making it easier and more affordable for customers to maintain long-term protection. Coverage for eligible devices begins immediately upon activation, and users can continue their plan for as long as they choose.
Easy Activation via Device Settings
Customers can browse plan options and purchase AppleCare+ directly from the Settings app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. This seamless onboarding process ensures users can activate coverage within minutes.
Apple’s Commitment to Customer Support
“AppleCare gives our customers peace of mind knowing that their products are protected and supported by Apple experts,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing. “With today’s updates in India, we’re making it easier and more affordable to get trusted protection, including access to our most complete coverage for iPhone.”
Important Requirements
Theft and Loss coverage requires Find My to be enabled on the device at the time of loss or theft and throughout the claims process. Each claim also carries a deductible, and taxes may apply.
