SpongeBob SquarePants is gearing up for a brand-new mission under the sea as Apple Arcade prepares to launch SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2 on December 4. The sequel to one of the platform’s most successful titles brings the iconic sponge back into action — this time teaming up with longtime rival Plankton for a chaotic rescue mission across Bikini Bottom. The pair will join forces to recover the Krusty Krab’s missing fry cook station, track down Plankton’s stolen inventions, and uncover the mysterious villain threatening their underwater home.
A Co-Op Adventure Through Bikini Bottom
The new installment introduces players to a dynamic setup where they can switch between SpongeBob and Plankton or team up with friends in local co-op mode. From the bustling streets of Bikini Bottom to Dead Eye Gulch and the sun-kissed shores of Goo Lagoon, the game stays true to the show’s colorful world. Fans can expect fresh puzzles, quirky story twists, and encounters with bizarre new bosses designed to elevate the platforming experience.
Apple Arcade Expands With Five More Titles
Apple Arcade’s holiday lineup is shaping up to be one of its strongest yet. Starting November 13, Apple Vision Pro users will get access to Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, a real-time multiplayer strategy battler. On December 4, the service will roll out four more additions: PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+. The mix spans soothing simulation, roguelite action, uninterrupted endless running, and a fan-favorite anime fighting title.
PowerWash Simulator Brings Relaxation to Mobile
PowerWash Simulator arrives on mobile exclusively via Apple Arcade, offering players the familiar satisfaction of blasting away dirt using touch and gyroscope controls. The game includes popular content packs from day one — including the SpongeBob SquarePants special pack — with more themed add-ons coming later at no extra cost.
Cult of the Lamb Makes Its Mobile Debut
The award-winning Cult of the Lamb lands on phones for the first time through Apple Arcade as the Arcade Edition. This version adds exclusive extras such as new follower forms, decorative items, and outfits, packaged together with all prior updates and premium content released across platforms.
Ongoing Updates Keep Classics Fresh
Apple Arcade continues to update its existing lineup as well. Sneaky Sasquatch, one of the service’s most-played games, recently expanded with a new farming town area where players can visit Grandma’s farm, ride tractors, and cultivate nine types of crops for profit. The update adds another layer of depth to the already-popular open-world experience.
Pricing and Availability
Apple Arcade is priced at INR 99 per month and includes a one-month free trial for new subscribers. Customers purchasing new Apple devices can enjoy three months of access at no extra cost. The service is also bundled within Apple One’s Individual (INR 195) and Family (INR 365) plans, each offering a one-month free trial. Arcade Originals are supported across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, while App Store Greats are available on select devices. One subscription grants unlimited access for up to six family members, though game availability may vary by hardware and region.
