AKAI India Launches ‘Power Goals for Power Homes’ Campaign Ahead of Global Soccer Tournament

AKAI India, operating under Home Tech Digital Limited, has announced its Power Goals for Power Homes campaign, centered around its upgraded 2026 television lineup and supported by its latest air conditioner and refrigerator ranges.

The campaign is designed to position AKAI’s home entertainment and appliance ecosystem as a complete solution for sports enthusiasts preparing for the upcoming global soccer tournament.

PowerView TVs Lead AKAI’s 2026 Product Push

At the center of the campaign is the new PowerView TV range, built on Google TV powered by Android 14. Marketed under the tagline “It’s not a TV, It is PV,” the lineup represents a significant expansion of AKAI’s television portfolio in India.

The range features QLED and QLED+ display technology with 4K resolution and support for HDR10 and HLG formats. According to the company, the televisions are designed to deliver enhanced brightness, contrast, and color accuracy for sports, movies, and entertainment content.

120Hz Game Mode and MEMC Enhance Motion Clarity

To improve viewing experiences during fast-moving sports broadcasts, AKAI has equipped the PowerView range with a 120Hz Game Mode and MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology.

The company says these features help deliver smoother motion, reduced blur, and lower latency, making them suitable for fast-paced sporting events and gaming applications.

The televisions also support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, while the flagship 75-inch model includes a 2x15W speaker setup with dedicated tweeters for enhanced audio performance.

AI Color Optimizer Adds Accessibility Features

One of the notable additions to the PowerView lineup is the AI-powered Color Optimizer, which includes a dedicated color correction mode designed for users with color vision deficiencies.

According to AKAI, the feature is intended to help more viewers experience accurate and realistic visuals regardless of visual limitations.

Smart Features Powered by Google TV

Running on Google TV with Android 14, the PowerView televisions offer personalized content recommendations, watchlists, parental controls through Kids Profiles, Chromecast built-in, and access to applications through the Google Play Store.

The televisions also come with pre-installed streaming services including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Zee5, and JioHotstar.

Selected 86-inch and 100-inch models additionally feature hands-free voice control, allowing users to manage content, volume, and applications without using a remote.

Available Across Multiple Screen Sizes

The PowerView Google TV lineup is available in six screen sizes:

  • 32-inch
  • 43-inch
  • 50-inch
  • 55-inch
  • 65-inch
  • 75-inch

The premium QLED range extends up to 86 inches, while the QLED+ lineup is available in sizes reaching up to 100 inches.

Nilgiree NXT Inverter AC Range Targets Indian Summers

Alongside its television lineup, AKAI is promoting its 2026 Nilgiree NXT Split Inverter AC series.

The air conditioners are engineered to operate in ambient temperatures of up to 55°C and feature 9-in-1 Flexi Mode, 6-in-1 Convertible Mode, 100% copper condenser coils, Frost Self-Clean technology, and air purification support.

The range is available in 1-ton and 1.5-ton capacities with 3-star to 5-star energy ratings. Pricing starts at ₹26,000, with no-cost EMI options beginning at ₹4,999 per month.

Refrigerator Portfolio Completes the Home Ecosystem

AKAI has also highlighted its 2026 refrigerator range as part of the campaign. The lineup includes 215-litre and 190-litre direct-cool refrigerators, along with a new mini refrigerator series ranging from 48 litres to 100 litres.

Features include Deep Direct Cool technology, wide voltage operation, soft crispers, LED lighting, and R600a eco-friendly refrigerant support on select models.

The refrigerators come with a 10-year warranty and a 1-year compressor warranty, with prices starting from ₹16,398 and no-cost EMI options beginning at ₹2,150 per month.

Nationwide Service Support

AKAI stated that its after-sales network includes more than 1,200 service centres across 28 states, supporting customers across India. Financing options are available through multiple lending and payment partners.
