As promised, Xiaomi has introduced its first Smart TV running Fire TV OS in India called the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32. This TV is powered by Amazon Fire OS and includes an Alexa voice-enabled remote which allows users to effortlessly switch channels, launch apps, search for titles, play music, and control smart home devices with voice commands. The TV boasts a 32-inch HD-Ready display, powered by Vivid Picture Engine technology, and 20W speakers with Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and DTS: Virtual X technology. With Amazon’s Fire OS 7, users can access a wide range of entertainment options from over 12,000 apps available on the Fire TV app store, including popular streaming services like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, YouTube, and more.
According to the company, users can access Amazon miniTV and over 70 live channels, including Aaj Tak, Zee News, India Today, DD National, and more for free, by streaming through services such as Zee5, nexGTV, Kids First, and others.
