Dell has released new models in their premium XPS series of laptops, including the XP3 15 9530, which is a refreshed version of the previous generation with minor upgrades.
The new XPS 15 9530 from Dell features the latest generation of Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU while maintaining its iconic build aesthetic, including a CNC machined aluminum body and carbon fiber composite palm rest. It also offers a 15.6 inch InfinityEdge display with a 3.5K resolution on an OLED panel that supports touch, 400 nits of brightness, DisplayHDR 500 certifications, and 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut.
The XPS 15 9530 also offers a 15.6 inch FHD+ panel with a Full HD+ resolution IPS display that doesn’t support touch, but provides 100 percent sRGB color gamut. It can be configured with a Core i5-13500H, Core i7-13700H, or Core i9-13900H processor, up to 64 GB of dual channel DDR5 4800MHz RAM, and up to 8TB of internal storage. The laptop also offers an Intel Arc A370M graphics option and 40W variants of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050, RTX 4060, and RTX 4070.
The XPS 15 9530 offers connectivity options such as two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, and DisplayPort. It also includes a full-size SD card 6.0 reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Dell even ships a USB Type-C to 3.0 Type-A and HDMI 2.0 adapter in the box. The laptop starts at a price of $2,949.
