Lenovo has announced that their upcoming affordable Legion gaming laptops, powered by Nvidia’s latest RTX 40 series GPUs, will soon be available in the Chinese market. Lenovo is best known for its ThinkPad series in the business space and its Legion series in the gaming community.
Lenovo Legion China announced on its official Weibo account that the upcoming Legion gaming laptop to be launched in China will be the Lenovo Legion Geek Pro G5000, powered by Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4050 GPU for laptops with a max TDP of 95W. The company also shared 3DMark Time Spy Benchmarks showcasing the impressive power efficiency of the RTX 4050, which was able to deliver over 50% of its maximum performance at just 45W power draw.
The Lenovo Legion Geek Pro G5000, powered by the RTX 4050, not only offers improved GPU power efficiency but also supports the AV1 video-encoding codec, Nvidia’s DLSS 3.0 graphics technology, and comes with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM. In addition to its impressive specs, the laptop also boasts a fingerprint-resistant matte black unibody design and a range of ports, including USB-A 3.1, USB-C Thunderbolt, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI port.
