SportVot Becomes Exclusive Streaming Partner for 52nd Junior National Men’s Kabaddi Championship

SportVot has partnered with the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) as the exclusive live production, streaming and distribution partner for the 52nd Junior National Men’s Kabaddi Championship 2026. The tournament will take place in Bihar from November 1 to 4, 2026, and will feature 26 state and association teams from across the country.

Organised by the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, which is affiliated with AKFI, the championship is an important event on India’s junior national kabaddi calendar. It also serves as a selection tournament, giving emerging players an opportunity to showcase their skills and strengthen their prospects at the national level.

26 Teams to Compete in Junior National Kabaddi Championship

The four-day championship will bring together teams representing 26 states and associations. The previous edition saw the Sports Authority of India (SAI) defeat Uttar Pradesh to win the title.

The 2026 edition is expected to feature a mix of players with Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) experience and young athletes who have represented India in U18 competitions. Notable names include Anuj Chaudhary, who has represented India at the U18 level and is associated with Patna Pirates, Manprit Birwal of Bengal Warriorz, and Shridhar Kadam of Gujarat Giants.

Prasad Dighole, another player who has represented India’s U18 kabaddi team, is also among the talents to watch. The participation of players with professional franchise and international age-group experience is expected to add to the competition.

SportVot to Stream All Matches Live

As the exclusive production, streaming and distribution partner, SportVot will manage the championship’s complete live coverage. Its responsibilities will include on-ground video capture, production, digital streaming and distribution.

All matches will be streamed live exclusively on the SportVot OTT platform. Viewers can access the coverage through the SportVot app on Android and iOS smartphones. The platform will also be available on connected TVs through Android TV and Amazon Fire TV devices.

This multi-device access will allow kabaddi fans and sporting communities across India to follow the tournament on smartphones and televisions.

SportVot Strengthens Presence in National Sports

The partnership with AKFI adds to SportVot’s involvement in national-level sporting competitions. The company will combine its live production capabilities with its OTT and distribution network to make the junior national championship accessible to a wider audience.

The 52nd Junior National Men’s Kabaddi Championship will be held in Bihar from November 1 to 4, 2026, with all matches available live exclusively on SportVot across mobile and connected TV platforms.

Leadership Comment

Shubhangi Gupta, Co-founder & CMO, SportVot, said, “Kabaddi has a unique energy, especially at the junior national level, where every raid, tackle, and point can make a difference to a young player’s career. What makes this championship particularly exciting is the opportunity to watch emerging talent compete alongside players who have already experienced the Pro Kabaddi League. We’re delighted to partner with AKFI and work alongside the Bihar Kabaddi Association to bring this competition to fans across the country, making it possible for them to follow every match live, whether on their phones or television screens.”
