Iris Waves Deploys Xerox Managed Print Services Infrastructure at Bechtel India Facilities

Managed Print Services (MPS) provider Iris Waves has successfully deployed a comprehensive Xerox Managed Print Services infrastructure at the India headquarters and operational facilities of Bechtel India Pvt. Ltd., strengthening its presence in the enterprise print management segment.

The deployment marks a significant milestone for Iris Waves as it continues expanding its managed services portfolio across large enterprises. The project has been implemented at multiple Bechtel India locations under a long-term service agreement designed to modernize print infrastructure while improving operational efficiency.

Modernizing Print Infrastructure Across Bechtel India

Bechtel India is part of Bechtel Corporation, a Fortune 500 engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company founded in 1898 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, USA.

The company operates its India headquarters from Udyog Vihar, Gurugram, and maintains offices and project locations across major cities including Chennai, Vadodara, and Mumbai. Currently, Bechtel India operates six offices along with several project and plant sites nationwide.

As part of the engagement, Iris Waves has installed 35 Xerox AltaLink C8225 Colour A3 Multifunction Printers across Bechtel’s facilities. The enterprise-grade printers deliver high-speed output of up to 55 pages per minute and are designed to support large-volume printing, scanning, and document management requirements.

₹1.5 Crore Infrastructure Deployment

The total capital investment associated with the deployment is estimated at nearly ₹1.5 crore, with each Xerox AltaLink C8225 multifunction printer valued at approximately ₹5.5 lakh.

The deployment has been executed under a three-year Fully Assured Service & Maintenance Agreement (FASMA), enabling Bechtel India to adopt a predictable operational expenditure model while ensuring uninterrupted print services.

OPEX Model Expected to Generate ₹5 Crore Service Revenue

Under the agreement, Iris Waves will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of the print infrastructure.

The scope of services includes:

  • End-to-end maintenance and operation of the installed devices
  • Supply of toner and consumable materials
  • Dedicated engineering and technical support
  • Performance monitoring and service management

Meanwhile, the customer will provide infrastructure support such as installation space, electricity, and paper supplies.

According to the company, while the initial capital deployment stands at approximately ₹1.5 crore, the operational service component is expected to generate around ₹5 crore in revenue over the three-year contract period.

Upgrade and Buyback Program Included

At the end of the contract term, the installed devices will be evaluated based on performance metrics and customer satisfaction levels.

If required, Iris Waves may replace the existing systems with newer-generation devices at prevailing market prices. The engagement also includes a buyback mechanism that allows customers to receive value for their existing equipment, which can be adjusted against future hardware purchases.

Growing Demand for Managed Print Services

The company expects increasing enterprise adoption of OPEX-driven print infrastructure models as organizations focus on reducing upfront investments while ensuring business continuity and technology modernization.

Managed Print Services are gaining traction among large enterprises due to benefits such as lower operational costs, centralized print management, enhanced security, improved device utilization, and sustainability-focused workflows.

Expanding Enterprise Customer Base

Iris Waves continues to strengthen its position in the enterprise services market by delivering Managed Print Services and IT integration solutions to several leading organizations across sectors.

Its customer portfolio includes companies and institutions such as Oppo, Jubilant, Volvo, PhysicsWallah, British Council, PepsiCo, Reckitt, Fluor, JBM Auto, OYO, Bank of Baroda, Bajaj Finserv, Punjab National Bank, and Zomato.

The Bechtel deployment further reinforces the company’s focus on helping enterprises modernize workplace operations, improve document management efficiency, and achieve long-term sustainability objectives through technology-driven solutions.
