Raptee.HV has announced a financing partnership with IDFC FIRST Bank aimed at making electric motorcycle ownership more accessible for Indian consumers.
The collaboration is designed to address one of the key challenges in electric vehicle adoption—vehicle financing. Through the partnership, customers purchasing Raptee.HV electric motorcycles will gain access to financing solutions that include attractive loan terms, faster approvals, flexible repayment options, and a streamlined purchase experience.
Strengthening the EV Ownership Ecosystem
The partnership forms part of Raptee.HV’s broader strategy to build a comprehensive ownership ecosystem around its electric motorcycles. The Chennai-based company is known for introducing high-voltage electric vehicle technology, typically found in electric cars, into the two-wheeler segment through its HV-Tec platform.
By expanding access to financing, the company aims to reduce the upfront cost burden often associated with electric vehicle purchases and encourage wider adoption of electric motorcycles.
Growing Network of Finance Partners
Alongside IDFC FIRST Bank, Raptee.HV has already established financing partnerships with Indian Overseas Bank and Shriram Finance. The company stated that it is actively working to onboard additional retail finance partners to further expand financing availability across markets.
Insurance Support for Customers
To complement its financing ecosystem, Raptee.HV has also partnered with Muthoot Risk Insurance and Broking Services as its preferred insurance service provider across its dealership network. The arrangement will be supported by leading general insurance companies, helping customers access insurance solutions as part of the vehicle purchase process.
Focus on Simplifying EV Adoption
With the latest partnership, Raptee.HV continues to focus on reducing barriers to electric motorcycle ownership by integrating financing and insurance solutions into the customer journey. The company believes that easier access to credit and a simplified buying process will play an important role in accelerating electric motorcycle adoption in India.
Leadership Quote
Speaking about the partnership, Dinesh Arjun, CEO & Co-Founder of Raptee.HV said, “For most customers, the decision to switch to electric is not just about the motorcycle itself; it’s about how easy and convenient the entire ownership experience is. At Raptee.HV, we have always focused on removing friction at every step of that journey, whether it’s charging, service, insurance, or financing. Through our partnership, customers can now benefit from easier access to financing and a smoother purchase experience, making it simpler to own an electric motorcycle. This partnership is another important step towards accelerating the adoption of electric motorcycles across India.”
