URBN has launched the new URBN Slate Powerbank Qi2 MagTag, designed to deliver faster wireless charging for iPhones and compatible Android devices through official Qi2 certification.
The company said the power bank combines a compact metallic design with high-speed charging capabilities, targeting users seeking portable power solutions for travel, work, and daily connectivity needs.
Qi2 Technology Enables Faster Wireless Charging
Unlike many magnetic wireless power banks limited to 7.5W charging speeds, the Slate Qi2 MagTag supports up to 15W wireless charging through Qi2 certification.
According to URBN, compatible iPhones can charge up to 50% in approximately 45 minutes, while devices such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max can receive up to 1.5 full charges. The power bank also supports compatible Android smartphones including models such as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and Nothing Phone (3).
10,000mAh Battery with 20W Wired Charging Support
The power bank features a 10,000mAh battery capacity designed to provide extended backup power throughout the day. Alongside magnetic wireless charging, the device supports 20W wired fast charging through a USB Type-C input/output port.
This dual charging capability allows users to switch between wireless convenience and faster wired charging when required.
Safety Features Include Multi-Layer Protection
URBN stated that the device includes a BIS-certified battery alongside multiple protection mechanisms against overcharging, overheating, overcurrent, short circuits, and voltage fluctuations.
The company added that intelligent circuitry automatically shuts down charging if abnormal battery or chip temperatures are detected. The product is also built using UL and RoHS-compliant components.
Magnetic Design and Smart Display Improve Everyday Use
The Slate Qi2 MagTag includes strong built-in magnets designed to maintain secure attachment to compatible smartphones during movement or travel.
It also features a smart LED display that shows precise remaining battery levels, replacing conventional indicator lights commonly found in portable chargers.

The power bank has an ultra-compact form factor intended to fit into pockets, handbags, and backpacks. URBN said the device is flight-safe and designed for users requiring portable charging solutions during travel.
