Ambrane India has launched the new Reneo rechargeable batteries, AA and AAA. The company describes these as India’s first AAA Type-C rechargeable batteries designed to charge similarly to smartphones.
The launch marks Ambrane’s expansion into a new product category focused on reusable and sustainable power solutions for everyday electronic devices.
Direct Type-C Charging Eliminates Need for Charging Docks
The new Reneo AAA batteries support direct Type-C charging, allowing users to recharge them using standard charging cables without requiring dedicated battery charging docks.
According to the company, the batteries support a 10-minute emergency charge and can achieve a full recharge within approximately one to two hours.
The batteries are designed for use across devices including TV remotes, wireless mice, toys, cameras, trimmers, speakers, and gaming controllers.
Designed to Replace Up to 100 Disposable Batteries
Ambrane said each Reneo AAA battery is capable of replacing up to 100 conventional disposable batteries, positioning the product as a more sustainable and cost-effective alternative for long-term use.
The company highlighted waste reduction as a key focus, given the growing demand for reusable power solutions in households.
Built-In Safety Features for Everyday Use
The batteries include integrated protection circuits designed to guard against overcharging, overcurrent, and short circuits.
Additionally, Ambrane stated that the batteries feature leak-proof and non-flammable construction aimed at improving safety during daily usage across household electronics.
Pricing and Availability of Reneo rechargeable batteries
The Reneo AA rechargeable batteries are priced at ₹499, while the Reneo AAA variant is available for ₹399.
The products can be purchased through Ambrane India’s official website, Amazon, and retail outlets across India.
