Reliance Jio, in collaboration with Jio Institute, has launched the ‘AI-Ready School’ initiative in Rajasthan, aiming to strengthen digital literacy and future-ready skills among students and educators.
The program has already seen participation from over 1,100 schools across the state, marking one of the largest AI-focused school outreach efforts in the region.
Free Four-Week AI Training for Students and Educators
Under the initiative, participating schools are offered a free four-week online course designed to introduce students and teachers to practical applications of artificial intelligence. The curriculum includes hands-on exposure to leading AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Adobe Express.
The training covers AI fundamentals and prompt engineering, equipping learners with essential skills aligned with emerging global workforce demands. The structured program focuses on practical understanding rather than theoretical exposure, preparing students to engage with AI technologies responsibly and effectively.
‘AI-Ready School’ Certification for Participating Institutions
Schools that successfully guide 100 or more students through the course receive an official ‘AI-Ready School’ certification from Jio Institute. So far, more than 25 schools in Rajasthan have earned this recognition, reinforcing early adoption momentum within the state’s education ecosystem.
The certification aims to encourage institutional participation and promote AI-driven academic readiness at scale.
5G Customers Get Google Gemini Pro Plan Benefits
As part of the broader digital ecosystem push, Reliance Jio is offering its unlimited 5G customers an 18-month Google Gemini Pro plan free of charge, valued at ₹35,100. The package includes 2TB of cloud storage and access to advanced tools such as Veo 3.1 for video creation, NotebookLM for research assistance, and Nano Banana Pro for high-fidelity image generation.

With Rajasthan as the starting point, the ‘AI-Ready School’ campaign signals Reliance Jio’s growing focus on embedding artificial intelligence literacy within India’s school ecosystem.
