TCL Electronics, a renowned consumer electronics brand, has once again received accolades as the Global Top 2 TV Brand and the No. 1 TV Brand in the 98’’ category, as per the findings of the market research firm OMDIA.
OMDIA’s Global TV Sets Report 2023 underscores TCL’s continued dominance, maintaining its second position in the global TV market for the second consecutive year, with a total shipment of 25.26 million units and a remarkable market share of 12.9%. Additionally, TCL has retained its leading position in the 98’’ TV category for the second year running, with 97.2 thousand units, capturing a notable 32.4% market share.
This remarkable achievement can be attributed in part to TCL’s successful premium TV offerings, particularly its series of Mini LED TVs introduced in 2023. The Mini LED TV segment has witnessed significant growth in recent years, buoyed by robust market demand.
In line with its commitment to expanding and enhancing its premium TV product lineup, TCL introduced the world’s first Mini LED TV in 2019, becoming the pioneer in mass-producing Mini LED TVs. Leveraging its proprietary Mini LED technologies and robust algorithm capabilities, TCL delivers unparalleled display quality and a premium viewing experience with its TVs.
TCL has also unveiled a range of Mini LED TVs measuring 98 inches and above over the past year. Notably, the world’s largest 115-inch QD-Mini LED TV made its debut in North America during CES 2024, boasting over 20,000 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
