Aionos has appointed Hemant Lamba as its Chief Business Officer (CBO), with responsibility for the company’s global growth and business strategy. Announced on October 21, 2026, the appointment will see Lamba lead sales across regions and industries, enterprise client relationships, and alliances and partnerships.
In his new role, Lamba will focus on bringing Aionos’ portfolio to clients as an integrated offering, supporting the company’s efforts to expand its global business.
Lamba Brings Over 30 Years of Technology Leadership Experience
Lamba brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience in technology services and large-scale digital transformation. He joins Aionos from Inetum, where he served as CEO of Inetum Solutions.
At Inetum, he led a 7,000-person organisation and built a next-generation services business combining industry expertise with AI-led offerings.
Previous Leadership Roles at Infosys, Accenture, IBM and Cognizant
Before joining Aionos, Lamba held senior leadership positions at Infosys, Accenture, IBM and Cognizant. During his career, he led strategic sales and large deals while driving business turnarounds and growth across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
His experience spans global markets, enterprise relationships and technology services, which will be relevant to his responsibilities across Aionos’ sales and business development operations.
Educational Background and Leadership Training
Lamba holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and an MBA from the University of Delhi. He has also completed the Global Leadership Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
