The transition is not merely symbolic, as HMD Global has taken a step further by officially updating its social media handles and website to reflect the change from Nokia Mobile to HMD. While the company remains committed to selling Nokia phones, tablets, and accessories, it has clarified that there are no plans to introduce any new phones under the Nokia brand.
Eager Anticipation for Original HMD Devices and Collaborations
HMD Global is gearing up for a new chapter, promising consumers more than ever before, including original HMD devices and a lineup resulting from fresh partnerships. To build excitement, the company has released a teaser video providing a glimpse of the upcoming phone’s design, signaling a commitment to innovation and pushing boundaries.
The teaser also revealed a new HMD phone with a Lumia-like design and a captivating Pink color scheme. A prior render of the device showcased it in Blue, unveiling a powerful 108MP camera featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Notably, renowned leaker @evleaks has shared codenames for the upcoming HMD phones, including Pulse, Legend, Pulse+, Legend Plus, Pulse Pro, and Legend Pro.
