Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) announces the initiation of its accelerator program, IPV Ideaschool Batch 1, aimed at assisting entrepreneurs in transitioning their business ideas from the conceptual stage to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in a 6-week nationwide initiative.
Selective Entry Process and Valuable Incentives
Anticipating 2000 applicants, IPV will shortlist 100 candidates for the program’s initial phase, with 40 advancing to active participation. Rigorous evaluation criteria will be applied across various parameters to identify promising startups. The culmination of the program will feature an on-ground event where the top 15 startups will present their ideas to a distinguished jury. The final 5 selected startups stand to secure Rs 80 lakhs in investment and an exclusive opportunity to become part of the IPV portfolio. Applications are open until January 20th, 2024.

Mr. Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, expresses the goal of IPV Ideaschool in providing startups not only with early-stage funding but also strategic guidance and access to IPV’s extensive network. The focus is on identifying startups contributing sustainable ideas that add value to the economy. The program aims to nurture and empower innovative ideas, ensuring a foundation of quality and potential, shaping the future of groundbreaking ventures in India.
Holistic Support and Learning Opportunities
IPV’s experts will assist startups in refining business plans, suggesting pivots if necessary, to ensure commercially viable ideas ready for funding. The program leverages IPV’s investor network, ecosystem partners, and other venture capitalists to facilitate access to necessary infrastructure and additional capital. Startups will benefit from bootcamps, masterclasses, and expert-led sessions covering various aspects of business. IPV Ideaschool promises a holistic experience, providing exposure on building businesses for the real world. The initiative receives strong support from IPV, Firstport Capital, and Physis Capital to nurture startup growth.
