Xiaomi, the prominent technology giant, is poised to create ripples in the Indian market with the upcoming debut of its Redmi Note 13 series scheduled for January 4th.In a recent development, the company released a teaser hinting at the introduction of Xiaomi HyperOS in India, solidifying its imminent launch.
This announcement follows Xiaomi’s global revelation that HyperOS would be making its way to Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phones worldwide, starting in Q1 of 2024. The Chief Marketing Officer of Xiaomi India hinted at a significant year ahead, stating, “2024 is a landmark year for Xiaomi India & you’ll see tons of action.” The question was posed, “Btw, do you know why ’24 is important for Xiaomi India?”
Xiaomi HyperOS is built on Linux and integrates Xiaomi’s self-developed Xiaomi Vela system. This architecture enables seamless compatibility with a variety of devices, irrespective of RAM size. During its introduction in China back in October, Xiaomi emphasized the lightweight nature of HyperOS, claiming it utilizes minimal resources compared to its competitors.
The upcoming Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ devices, scheduled for launch on January 4th in India, are expected to run on MIUI. However, Xiaomi enthusiasts are eager to learn more about the rollout plans for HyperOS on these flagship and Redmi devices. The official unveiling is anticipated to reveal more details about Xiaomi’s innovative operating system during the launch event later this week.
