Xiaomi’s launch of its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the latest version of its custom Android skin, MIUI 14, is highly anticipated as the company aims to strengthen its position in the global smartphone market.
Although some devices like the Xiaomi 12 Pro have already received the MIUI 14 update, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to be the first device to come with the update pre-installed.
MIUI 14 comes with a range of new features and improvements, including the ability to customize icon sizes with four options, new folder layouts, and additional wallpapers and widgets.
MIUI 14 includes several other notable features, such as the “fast Bluetooth connect” feature, which enables quicker connections to other Bluetooth devices. The latest version also has fewer pre-installed apps (only eight), and is smaller in size compared to MIUI 13. Additionally, MIUI 14 offers improved security and privacy features, a simple toggle for silent mode, and real-time subtitles during video calls.
