Flash calls are new initiatives of verification techniques by WhatsApp. A six-digit verification code is used to sign in to the instant messaging service.
As per the screenshot posted by WABetaInfo, Users who attempt to log into a WhatsApp account but do not receive a verification code can select to receive a call.
To verify login with flash calls, users must activate flash calls and let the platform view call history. This other way, according to WABetaInfo, is only accessible on WhatsApp for Android because iOS does not offer a public API for call history access.
Companion mode for WhatsApp is being developed with new features
The ability to sync chat histories between mobile devices is something WhatsApp is working on. Previous reports from WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo indicated that the messaging service was developing a buddy mode to connect numerous devices to a single account.
According to WABetaInfo, “Users’ communications are safely replicated to the companion device when they connect to WhatsApp from a secondary mobile device.” The companion mode’s release date is not yet known.
According to earlier rumors, WhatsApp will soon allow users to hide their last seen and online status from their contacts and provide the option to utilize avatars during video conversations.
