When users type an emoji in the chat bar, a sticker tray appears above the keyboard, displaying stickers related to the entered emoji. This saves time and simplifies the sticker selection process, especially for users with a large collection of installed stickers. Additionally, third-party stickers can also be used with this feature by associating emojis with each sticker.
In the upcoming beta version 2.23.14.17, WhatsApp is working on a chat filtering feature. This feature aims to allow users to filter conversations directly from the chat list, improving accessibility. The idea is inspired by a previous suggestion for a filter button to enhance the user experience.
The chat filtering feature includes three filters at the top of the chat list: unread messages, personal conversations, and business-related chats. However, at present, there is no dedicated filter for group chats, which may be addressed in future updates.
