Uno Minda Aftermarket has introduced its new metal wiper blade range for the Indian aftermarket, featuring technology from Taiwan. The newly launched range is designed to deliver improved windshield visibility, quieter operation, and enhanced durability for Indian driving conditions, especially during rain and dusty environments.
The launch comes as India’s automotive sector continues to grow alongside increasing consumer focus on vehicle safety and driving comfort. According to the company, conventional wiper blades often lose effectiveness over time, resulting in streaks, uneven wiping, and noise that can impact visibility while driving.
New Wiper Blade Range Focuses on Visibility and Quiet Operation
Uno Minda stated that the new wiper blade range has been engineered to deliver smooth and streak-free wiping performance for everyday driving conditions.
The product features a pressure-balanced frame design intended to maintain uniform contact with the windshield for consistent wiping performance. The rubber wiper is coated with graphite and Teflon to reduce friction and enable quieter operation during use.
The company said the range is designed to improve overall driving comfort while ensuring better visibility on the road.
Wiper Blades Tested for Long-Term Durability
According to Uno Minda, the new metal wiper blades have been tested for up to 500,000 wiping cycles to ensure long-lasting and reliable performance.
The range also includes a universal adapter designed to fit more than 95% of vehicles, enabling easier installation and compatibility across multiple vehicle models.
The company added that the combination of pressure-balanced wiping, specialized coating technology, and enhanced durability is aimed at providing a safer driving experience for customers.
Availability and Pricing of Uno Minda Metal Wiper Blade
The Uno Minda Wiper Blade range will be available through major retail outlets and online platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and Uno Minda Kart.
The newly launched range has been priced between ₹180 and ₹405.
