Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio), the leading telecom provider boasting the largest subscriber base, continues to strengthen its presence in Rajasthan. As per the latest TRAI subscriber data report for January 2024, Jio witnessed a substantial addition of 2.39 lakh new wireless subscribers, further solidifying its dominance in the region.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel saw an increase of 1.23 lakh subscribers, whereas Vodafone Idea experienced a decline of 2.20 lakh subscribers. Additionally, BSNL lost 2,022 existing subscribers during the same period. Jio’s subscriber base in Rajasthan reached an impressive 2.65 crores as of January 31, 2024, establishing itself as the preferred telecom brand in the region in less than eight years of operation. Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL reported wireless subscriber bases of 2.32 crores, 1.07 crores, and 56.65 lakhs, respectively, during the same period, contributing to a total telecom subscriber count of 6.61 crores in Rajasthan.

Jio’s rapid growth in Rajasthan can be attributed to its robust and extensive network, covering 99.5 percent of the population. Moreover, Jio Air Fiber services are operational in 352 towns and cities across the state, further enhancing its appeal and accessibility to consumers.
By the end of January 2024, Jio’s subscriber count in Rajasthan reached an impressive 2.65 crores.
