TPV Technology Limited, the world’s largest LCD manufacturer, has named Carol Anne Dias as its new Managing Director for AOC and Philips monitor divisions in India. In her strategic role, Carol will lead efforts to drive the company’s monitor business to new heights, focusing on growth and market penetration across major metro cities in India.
This move aligns with TPV Technology’s commitment to meeting local market demands and ensuring the availability of its innovative portfolio of monitor solutions. Carol will actively promote Philips and AOC monitors, including AOC’s sub-brand ‘AGON by AOC,’ known for its high-performance gaming monitors. She will oversee channel operations, retail strategies, the network of gaming systems integrators, and overall sales and marketing by leveraging key distribution channels across India.
Kevin Wu, General Manager – APMEA, expressed excitement about Carol’s appointment, highlighting her pivotal role in accelerating the growth of the monitor portfolio in the Middle East and Africa. The gaming monitors industry is on the rise in India, projected to grow from US$ 108 million in 2023 to US$ 235.53 million by 2033. TPV Technology sees this as an opportunity to boost the growth of AOC’s leading gaming monitor sub-brand, AGON by AOC, currently the world’s number one gaming monitor according to the Q3/2023 IDC Quarterly Gaming Tracker report.

With a robust professional background spanning more than two decades in the technology and IT sector, Carol has consistently demonstrated a knack for achieving profitability and establishing market leadership in her past roles. Prior to her tenure at AOC, she held influential leadership positions at renowned organizations, including Belkin International and Redington Gulf. Carol played a crucial role in spearheading sales initiatives and contributing to market expansion. She is a holder of a degree in Economics from India.
