Speculated Specifications of Redmi K60 Series

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 & Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets may be used in the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. 

Important details about the upcoming Redmi K60 series of smartphones have leaked. Redmi’s flagship K50 line of affordable smartphones has been on the market for some time now. The Redmi K50i, a smartphone featuring MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC & 67W fast charging capabilities, was also released in India by the business. Now, a tipster has revealed the expected hardware specs for all three Redmi K60 versions. Xiaomi has not yet announced when the Redmi K60 series, the sequel to the Redmi K50 series, will be released in China. 

The next Redmi K60 series, which is supposed to consist of three variants, the Redmi K60, the Redmi K60 Pro, and also the Redmi K60E, has reportedly had its specifications revealed by tipster Kacper Skrzypek. The leaker revealed the devices’ codenames and system-on-chips (SoCs), suggesting that they will be the successors to the Redmi K50 series. 

Skrzypek claims that the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E go by the names Socrates, Mondrian, & Rembrandt, respectively. He has also suggested that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be used in the Redmi K60, while the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be used in the Redmi K60 Pro. Meanwhile, a MediaTek CPU is expected to power the Redmi K60E. 

Speculation has it that the Redmi K60 will include a 6.67-inch 2K display and a triple back camera arrangement consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, as well as a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The device supposedly has a 16-megapixel camera, capable of taking high-quality selfies. 

The device is speculated to be powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports both 67W fast charging & 30W wireless charging. According to reports, the base model will launch with 12GB of RAM and a fingerprint scanner embedded into the screen.
