Sonos, the industry leader in sound and design innovation, has unveiled the Sonos Era 300 and Sonos Era 100, the latest generation of smart speakers designed to revolutionize the audio experience. Era 300 is an innovative speaker delivering exceptional spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, while Era 100 is a reimagined version of the best-selling Sonos One. Both offer enhanced connectivity and Trueplay™ technology, taking immersive listening to new heights. What’s more, they are the first speakers designed in accordance with Sonos’ responsible design standards, featuring long-term serviceability, energy-efficient technology, and the use of post-consumer recycled materials.
The Era 300 and Era 100 speakers will be available in India from October 20, 2023, with pre-orders beginning on October 15, 2023.

Sonos Era 300: Unmatched Spatial Audio Experience with Dolby Atmos
Era 300 features six powerful drivers that direct sound in various directions, delivering an unprecedented spatial audio experience with Dolby Atmos. Its cinched hourglass design enhances the direction and dispersion of sound, surrounding listeners with immersive audio. Additionally, Era 300 becomes the brand’s first speaker to provide multi-channel surround sound when used as home theater rears. Users can pair two Era 300 speakers with Arc or Beam (Gen 2) to create a supercharged Dolby Atmos experience for a more immersive cinematic experience.
Sonos worked closely with its community of leading artists and creators to fine-tune Era 300, ensuring that sound reproduction stays true to the artist’s intent. The Era 300 will be available in India for INR 54,999.
Era 100: Reinventing a Category-Leading Icon
Era 100 is a slightly larger version of its predecessor, Sonos One, offering detailed stereo sound and deep bass. The speaker features two angled tweeters for crisp high frequencies and a larger midwoofer for stunning bass, surprising for a compact speaker of its size. Era 100’s sleek, modern design makes it a chic accent piece for various settings. Users can customize their sound experience by adding two Era 100 speakers as rears with a soundbar to create a surround sound system or pair two together for room-filling stereo sound. The Era 100 will be available in India for INR 29,999.
Premium and Responsible Design for a Sustainable Future
The Era 100 and Era 300 are designed with sustainability in mind. Both speakers are constructed with post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and packaged in 100% sustainably sourced paper. They are engineered to reduce power consumption, with under two watts of idle power consumption and a new advanced sleep function. These speakers are also built for serviceability by reducing the use of adhesives and transitioning to screws for easy disassembly and repair.
In addition to a responsible design, Era 100 and Era 300 feature a new capacitive volume slider for easy control, along with quick and private control options like Sonos Voice Control, the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth®. The speakers also come with upgraded connectivity options, including WiFi, Bluetooth, and an auxiliary cable for direct connections to other audio devices, such as turntables using the Sonos Line-In Adapter. Trueplay, a feature that optimizes sound for the unique acoustics of your space, is now available for both Android and iOS users through the microphone array in Era 100 and Era 300.
