Samsung India has joined forces with health-tech startup Wellnesys Technologies to introduce an innovative and interactive yoga experience for consumers via its smart televisions. This collaboration marks a global first as it combines the cutting-edge AI-enabled yoga mat, YogiFi, with Samsung’s advanced TV technology.
Enhanced Yoga Experience
Through this exclusive partnership, Samsung aims to offer users a tech-savvy approach to practicing yoga. Consumers can access a wide array of yoga content on their Samsung smart TVs, including guided classes, personalized sessions, real-time feedback, and wellness monitoring, all through the YogiFi app.
Improved Posture and Alignment
YogiFi’s AI-enabled mat is equipped with sensors that can detect incorrect yoga postures during practice. It provides instant feedback to users, allowing them to make corrections and enhance their alignment. This feature is especially beneficial for individuals with sedentary lifestyles, assisting them in maintaining proper posture during yoga exercises.
Abundant Yoga Content
The YogiFi app offers a comprehensive selection of yoga programs categorized into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each level comprises a thoughtfully curated set of yoga asanas, providing users with a holistic yoga experience.
Availability
As part of Samsung’s Make for India initiative, the Samsung R&D Institute in Delhi (SRI-Delhi) collaborated closely with YogiFi to make the app accessible on various Samsung smart TV models. The YogiFi app will be available on all 2023 Samsung smart TV models, including Neo QLED 4K and 8K TVs, OLED TV, and the Crystal 4K UHD TV range. Furthermore, the company plans to make it compatible with previous year’s TV models in the near future, as announced by Samsung.
