Following the recent announcement of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series, it seems that a more budget-friendly A-series tablet lineup is on the horizon. Among them, the Galaxy Tab A9 has made its presence known by appearing on the Indian certification website, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).
The Galaxy Tab A9, originally spotted on the TDRA certification website, is now gaining momentum as its BIS certification suggests an imminent launch. Notably, both the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ models have been identified by tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings).
Examining the certification listing, it’s revealed that the Galaxy Tab A9 carries the model number SM-X115. The BIS certification further confirms that these upcoming tablets will be available in the Indian market. While precise details about the Galaxy Tab A9 series, such as pricing, specifications, features, and the exact launch date, remain undisclosed, initial information indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will support 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM, boasting a substantial 5,100mAh battery with 15W fast charging capabilities.
