Samsung has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Galaxy M34 5G, the next mid-range 5G smartphone in the M series, in India. A teaser image reveals that the phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner below the volume rockers, similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy M33 5G.
The Galaxy M34 5G is expected to sport a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, which is also found in the Galaxy A34. Additionally, it is rumored to come with a 6000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging and a 50MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), according to a report from IANS.
The teaser image further showcases a vertical arrangement of triple rear cameras, accompanied by a flash, resembling the design seen on the Galaxy A34 5G.
Last week, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G was spotted on the Samsung India support page with the model number SM-M346B. It is worth noting that Samsung is also working on the Galaxy F34 5G, which appeared on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) listing last month under the model number SM-E346B.
The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, as well as through Samsung India’s online store and offline retail outlets. The phone is expected to launch in early July at a price below Rs. 20,000, and the exact launch date will be announced soon.
