Salesforce Collaborates with ICT Academy, and AICTE to Empower Educators on Technical Education in India

Salesforce, renowned as the #1 AI CRM, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Academy and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to unveil the Educator’s Empowerment Program (EEP) focused on Salesforce Technologies. The joint initiative reflects a common commitment to equipping educators with the knowledge and skills essential for thriving in the dynamic landscape of technical education, ultimately ensuring high-quality learning experiences for students.

The program aims to facilitate virtual internships utilizing Trailhead, Salesforce’s free online learning platform, as an integral part of instructional practices. It encompasses three distinct tracks, including the Salesforce Platform Developer Track designed for individuals proficient in building custom applications on the Lightning Platform. The Salesforce Administrator Track serves as a guide for customizing the platform and bridging the gap between business and technology. Additionally, MuleSoft training is offered to enable seamless interconnection of data, applications, and devices across on-premises and cloud computing environments.

The EEP entails a comprehensive 40-hour training program spread over five days, delivering an on-campus learning experience to expedite upskilling and cross-skilling. Faculty participants will receive a certificate of participation in accordance with the requirements from Academia (EEP from ICT Academy is supported by AICTE). Furthermore, additional certifications will be granted through NASSCOM Future Skill Prime, covering Salesforce Developer Catalyst, Salesforce Administrator, and MuleSoft.

In alignment with IDC’s projection that the global Salesforce economy, fueled by AI, will generate a net gain of 11.6 million jobs and $2.02 trillion in business revenues between 2022 and 2028, Salesforce actively collaborates with academia in India to enhance the availability of skilled talent through the unique Educator’s Empowerment Program.
