Reliance Jio has further consolidated its leadership in Rajasthan’s telecom market in 2025, adding a total of 12.05 lakh new mobile and home broadband subscribers during the first ten months of the year. The strong additions have helped Jio maintain its clear No. 1 position in the state, driven by continued network expansion and rising adoption of mobile and broadband services.
Mobile Subscriber Growth Outpaces Competition
According to data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio added more than 7.16 lakh mobile subscribers in Rajasthan between January and October 2025. This performance was more than double that of its nearest competitor, which added around 2.85 lakh users during the same period. As a result, Jio’s total mobile subscriber base in the state reached 2.70 crore as of October 31, 2025, translating into a dominant 41.8% market share out of Rajasthan’s total 6.46 crore mobile users.
Home Broadband Sees Rapid Expansion
Jio’s leadership has been equally pronounced in the home broadband segment, which witnessed a sharp 71% growth during the period. Between January and October 2025, the company added 4.89 lakh new home broadband users in Rajasthan, taking its combined JioFiber and JioAirFiber base to over 11.77 lakh connections. This includes 5.56 lakh JioFiber subscribers and 6.21 lakh JioAirFiber users. By comparison, the nearest competitor currently serves about 5.02 lakh home broadband users in the state. Overall, Rajasthan’s total home broadband subscriber base stood at 20.73 lakh as of October 31, 2025.
National Milestones Reinforce Jio’s Momentum
At the national level, 2025 proved to be a landmark year for Reliance Jio. The company became the first Indian telecom operator to cross the 50 crore subscriber mark in September 2025. In July, Jio also emerged as the world’s No. 1 fixed wireless access (FWA) provider, overtaking T-Mobile. With more than 1 crore JioAirFiber users nationwide and 5G accounting for nearly 50% of total wireless data traffic, Jio continues to accelerate digital transformation across both urban and rural India.
Outlook for Rajasthan Remains Strong
Industry observers believe Jio’s sustained growth in Rajasthan reflects rising demand for high-speed mobile data and home broadband, supported by the company’s expanding 5G and fiber footprint. With strong momentum across both wireless and broadband segments, Jio is expected to remain the dominant force in Rajasthan’s telecom market going into 2026.
