Redmi introduced the Note 12 series in India back in January and now, it seems that the company is planning to expand the series with a new 4G device. Renders of the upcoming Redmi Note 12 4G, along with some key specifications, have been leaked by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.
The Note 12 4G is expected to be available in blue, gray, and green color options and features a design similar to the previously launched Note 12 series. It has a rectangular camera module at the back that houses a triple camera setup.
As per the leaked render, the power and volume buttons of the Redmi Note 12 4G will be placed on the right side, while the SIM tray will be on the left. On the bottom edge, it features a USB Type-C port, primary speakers, and a microphone cutout. The top edge houses a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR blaster, and a secondary speaker cutout
The ‘About Phone’ settings page live image suggests that the Redmi Note 12 4G will be powered by a Snapdragon 685 chipset, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 processor with a top clock speed of 2.8 GHz. The device is also expected to feature 4GB of RAM and 3GB of virtual RAM, run on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box.
The Redmi Note 12 4G is expected to be launched globally, including in India, in the near future.
