Global aviation software specialist Ramco Systems has announced its partnership with Fly Vaayu, a UAE-based cargo airline under the Vaayu Group, to implement its next-generation Aviation Software. This move aims to digitally transform Fly Vaayu’s operations with a comprehensive suite of solutions covering CAMO, Maintenance Planning, Line Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, and Finance & Accounting. The software will also be rolled out at Pradhaan Air Express, India’s youngest cargo airline and a strategic investment of the Vaayu Group.
AI-driven aviation technology
The implementation of Ramco Aviation Software will provide Fly Vaayu with an integrated digital platform, helping the airline streamline operations, improve process efficiency, and boost productivity. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), Ramco’s technology will enable real-time decision-making, cost optimization, and enhanced customer service.
Mujahid Hussain, Chief Information Officer at Fly Vaayu, expressed confidence in the new system, stating, “We were looking for a solution that would help us scale our operations and serve our customers with a robust digital infrastructure. Ramco Aviation Software’s extensive functionalities and its adaptability would augur well for the customer offerings that Vaayu plan to offer. We are confident that Ramco’s latest technology will offer us a technological edge for our growing business.”
Fly Vaayu’s Vision for RAK as a Regional Cargo Hub
Fly Vaayu aims to develop Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) into a regional cargo hub, offering freight capacity to forwarders, importers, exporters, transshippers, e-commerce players, last-mile providers, and charterers. The airline plans to operate cargo routes spanning Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
The airline marked a major milestone in October 2024 with the delivery of its first A320-200P2F freighter, making it the first A320 freighter registered in the Middle East. The conversion was completed at the ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services facility, solidifying Fly Vaayu’s position as a key player in the regional cargo sector.
Strengthening Pradhaan Air Express with AI-Driven Solutions
As a strategic investment of the Vaayu Group, Pradhaan Air Express will also benefit from Ramco’s AI-based aviation software. The cloud-enabled solution will enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize maintenance and logistics management.
