While the former two have already hit the market, the company’s first-ever tablet is yet to be released. Although the company had previously provided a rough timeline for the launch, customers now have a clearer idea, as preorders for the device are set to begin on April 10. This information was revealed in an email sent out by OnePlus to its customers. While the news is certainly exciting, the company has not yet disclosed the release date for the OnePlus Pad. Nonetheless, the announcement of the preorder date is sure to pique the interest of Android enthusiasts and OnePlus fans alike.
OnePlus has revealed that customers can reserve the OnePlus Pad by paying a deposit and paying the remaining balance when the device is released. Additionally, the company has teased a surprise gift for those who preorder the tablet, but it hasn’t disclosed what it is.
When it comes to the tablet’s specifications, the OnePlus Pad is expected to be a powerful device, equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 9,510mAh battery. The device will feature an 11.61-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a resolution of 2800 x 2000. However, its maximum brightness is limited to 400 nits, and it will have both front and rear cameras. The front camera will have an 8MP resolution, while the rear camera will be a 13MP sensor. The OnePlus Pad will use USB-C for charging, and it will support fast charging speeds of up to 67W thanks to Super VOOC technology.
