POWERCON Group, a global renewable energy asset creation and management company, has appointed Ravindra Chauhan as Senior Management Officer – Business Development.
The appointment strengthens the company’s commercial leadership as POWERCON Group expands its presence across India’s growing renewable energy sector.
Ravindra Chauhan Brings 22 Years of Wind Energy Experience
Ravindra Chauhan brings 22 years of leadership experience in wind energy and engineering to his new role. His experience covers business development, strategic customer engagement, engineering services, and operations and maintenance.
During his career, Chauhan has held senior positions at Suzlon, Senvion and InoxWind. At these organisations, he worked on business growth and supported large-scale renewable energy portfolios.
New Role to Focus on Business Development
As Senior Management Officer – Business Development at POWERCON Group, Chauhan will support the company’s business development function and work closely with its leadership team.
His responsibilities will include strengthening customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and expanding POWERCON Group’s market presence.
POWERCON Expands into Full Turnkey Wind Projects
POWERCON Group is currently executing full turnkey wind projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The company is taking end-to-end ownership of these projects, covering activities from concept and feasibility through design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
The move represents an expansion of the Group’s role beyond project development, with the company extending its involvement to the construction and operation of renewable energy assets across their full lifecycle.

The appointment of Ravindra Chauhan comes as POWERCON Group expands its activities across India’s renewable energy sector. His experience in wind energy, business development, engineering services and operations and maintenance is expected to support the company’s business development activities as it takes on a broader role across renewable energy projects.
