As per the sources, OPPO is developing a new smartphone for its A series. An “OPPO A17” smartphone matching the description was just discovered on the GCF accreditation page. An identical smartphone model has appeared on the BIS certification site, raising hopes that it may soon be available in India.
OPPO A17 Will Be Available In India Soon
The OPPO A17 belongs to the company’s A-series, and will reportedly be released soon, as reported by MySmartPrice. Its model number, CPH2477, has been seen on the GCF and BIS certification sites. No more details about the new OPPO smartphone have been revealed by the listings.
The OPPO A16 was released in September of 2021. Hence, with its successor, the OPPO A17, will likely be released at around the same time. The smartphone has an LCD screen that is 6.52 inches in size and can display an HD+ image at a 60Hz refresh rate. It also has a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, 4GB of RAM, & 64GB of storage space.
The phone has a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor for taking photographs. The gadget utilizes a 16MP front camera for taking pictures and making video calls. The 5,000mAh battery within the OPPO A17 is compatible with 10W quick charging. When it was first introduced, the smartphone cost 13,990.
International Accreditation for the Oppo A17, Vivo Y22s, and Vivo Y16
Vivo, however, is also releasing two low-cost smartphones under the Vivo Y line. The Vivo Y16 & Y22s, it seems, will be released in the international market as planned.
It’s possible that Vivo will market these gadgets as the Y16 & Y22s. Generally, the site merely verifies the gadgets’ names & model numbers. The technical specifications for the upcoming Vivo Y22s & Y16 smartphones were recently revealed in a leaked promotional flyer. The Snapdragon 680 SoC is said to be housed within the Vivo Y22s. More than that, the phone will include 8GB of RAM & 8GB of VRam as standard.
