Jio Institute and The Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS), London, have partnered to organize the ‘Middle Leader Programme’ for K-12 schools in India. This marks the first opportunity for academic professionals in the country to attend the program in person. The event is set to occur from June 10th to 14th, 2024.
The five-day residential program aims to empower school leaders, including Vice-Principals, Department Heads, Coordinators, Directors of Counseling, Activities & Athletics, among others. Participants will gain essential skills to develop high-performing teams, thereby enhancing student outcomes.
Established in 1965, ECIS is a non-profit organization that provides professional development training to educators, boasting a community of over 50,000 educators across 85 countries. The program will consist of two modules: Building & Leading Teams and Coaching & Leadership. Participants will learn practical strategies to foster effective teamwork, improve communication skills, and tackle complex challenges collaboratively.
The program will be led by experienced ECIS faculty members: Helen Morgan, Head of International Consultancy, and Sarah Kupke, Head of Professional Learning. Both bring extensive experience in education and a wealth of knowledge to the program.
The Middle Leader Programme will take place at the scenic campus of Jio Institute in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, with on-campus accommodation provided for participants throughout the program duration. Applications for the program are currently open. For more details, interested individuals can visit the official Jio Institute website.
Last year, Jio Institute collaborated with the Principal’s Training Center to organize the program “Creating Effective Schools,” attracting participants from over 25 schools across the country. Jio Institute continues its efforts to bring internationally renowned programs and organizations to India to enhance the capacity of educators.
