Marshall has teamed up with Green Day frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, to introduce the new Monitor III A.N.C. wireless headphones, designed for music lovers who crave an immersive audio experience. These cutting-edge headphones feature 70 hours of active noise-canceling playtime and an impressive 100 hours without noise cancellation. Marshall has been known for delivering a signature rock ‘n’ roll sound. And this time it has upped the ante by integrating Soundstage spatial audio technology, bringing a live-concert feel directly to your ears.
Immersive Sound and Long-lasting Playtime
Marshall is proud to have over 60 years of expertise in delivering powerful sound globally. It has equipped the Monitor III A.N.C. with thunderous bass and crystal-clear highs.
The enhanced active noise cancellation (ANC) technology ensures that unwanted ambient noise is blocked, allowing users to focus on their music. The Soundstage spatial audio feature takes this experience further by making listeners feel as though they’re surrounded by the performance.
The wireless headphone boasts 70 hours of playtime with ANC. On the other hand, the playtime without ANC is staggering 100 hours. With such impressive features, users can enjoy long sessions without needing to charge frequently. Therefore, the Monitor III A.N.C. ideal for travel, commutes, and long listening periods.
Kenny Wong, Design Director – “Monitor III A.N.C. focus on the essentials for good performance. We have reduced the weight, made the cushions soft as clouds and completely re-imagined the headband for long-lasting comfort. From an experience point of view, it stretches what is possible when it comes to the touch and feel of a Marshall product. They are extremely tactile with a self-healing leather texture and that unmistakable brass logo.”
Nicolas Pignier Delafontaine, Audio & Acoustics Engineer – “We have completely revised the acoustic design to improve the performance on all fronts: sound, ANC, transparency and voice calls. Monitor III delivers a sound that is wide, well-balanced, detailed, and enjoyable. Soundstage spatial audio takes the music out of your head and onto a virtual stage around you, making you feel immersed and revealing subtle layers in your favorite records.”

Billie Joe Armstrong: The Face of Marshall’s New Campaign
Billie Joe Armstrong is widely regarded as one of the greatest punk rock guitarists. He fronts Marshall’s campaign for the Monitor III A.N.C. A long-time user of Marshall amplifiers, Armstrong returns to his roots to lead this new project. His punk rock ethos of finding “harmony in the chaos” mirrors the seamless balance between powerful sound and calm offered by the headphones.
Armstrong has been synonymous with Marshall for decades. He notably uses the JCM900 and Plexi 1959SLP amps. These helped shape the sound of Green Day’s groundbreaking album, Dookie. The campaign pays homage to his history with Marshall, incorporating Easter eggs from his illustrious music career.
In a statement, Armstrong expressed his connection with the brand, saying: “If you know anything about me then you know that for me, the music never turns off,” says Billie. “Whether it’s a stadium or a club, a pub or a subway, rock ’n’ roll is not just something I do, I live it… all the time. Marshall is and has been one of my loudest copilots along the way – from the stage and now, to the street. What better way to flip off the world than to put your headphones on so it’s just you, and the music.”
