Mahindra University has secured victory in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023 software edition for the fourth consecutive year, underscoring the university’s unwavering commitment to nurturing innovation and technological excellence among its students.
The triumphant team, consisting of six exceptional students – Swarnim, Sayarnil, Ashwin, Kanishk, Deepesh, and Tanasi – guided by mentors Dr. Bharghava Rajaram, Dr. Bhanukiran, and Dr. Gourav Saha, showcased remarkable skills and innovation during the SIH 2023 finals held on December 19-20 in Kohlapur. The team excelled in addressing the problem statement presented by DRDO, focusing on vibration analysis of mechanical structures using computer vision. Amidst the participation of over 44,000 teams nationwide, Mahindra University’s victory in the SIH 2023 solidifies its standing as a premier institution in cultivating and producing talented individuals in the realm of technology and innovation.
