Launching Jio Phone 5G in India: Find the best handset on the site of BIS certification

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has certified the Jio Phone 5G, a low-cost smartphone made by Reliance that is compatible with 5G frequencies. The gadget has also been seen on Geekbench earlier. According to India Today, the phone is expected to be released at the upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) event for Reliance. The company appears to be seeking approvals for the phone, so it could launch soon.

As of August of this year, Reliance has revealed that now the Jio Phone 5G has been built with technical assistance from Google. Although we don’t have any official details just yet, the Jio LS1654QB5 has been spotted in the Geekbench database.

It is expected that the gadget would ship with 4GB of RAM and be powered by a Snapdragon 480+ SOc chip. According to the listing, Android 12 could be included in the Jio Phone 5G’s initial release.

The phone has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD 90Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery, as well as a 13-megapixel dual rear camera. India Today reported, based on rumor and leaks, that the front-facing camera could be an 8-megapixel one dedicated to taking selfies.
