Launch of Samsung Galaxy A Series in India Is Scheduled for January 18: Complete details below

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G was just released in the United States and Europe. Now, the South Korean tech giant has hinted at the impending introduction of new Samsung Galaxy A series phones in India. A couple of the forthcoming smartphones’ main specs have been announced by the company. However, the names of the device(s) have not been disclosed as of yet. After showing up on Geekbench as well as the Bluetooth SIG website, it has been reported that the Galaxy A34 5G & Galaxy A54 5G smartphones would soon be released in the country.

New Galaxy A series phones will be released in India on January 18 at 12pm IST, according to a microsite that has just officially launched on the official Samsung India site. This equipment will be available in three different “Awesome” colors: black, burgundy, and green. Their 6.6-inch, full-HD displays will refresh at 120Hz. Importantly, the front of the phone will feature a notch in the shape of a water drop, similar to that of the Galaxy A14 5G.

According to Samsung, the battery can last for two full days. In the back, you’ll find a triple camera array that uses optical image stabilization (OIS). High-speed 5G chipsets and 8GB of RAM will power these Galaxy A series handsets. Customizable lock screen, split screen, instant sharing, as well as a privacy dashboard are just some of the features that Samsung’s New UI interface will provide.

The PLS LCD screen on the original Galaxy A14 5G was 6.6 inches in size and refreshed at 90 hertz. MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 system-on-chip (SoC) provides the juice, while 4GB of RAM rounds out the package. It has a 50-megapixel triple shooter in the back and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The One UI 5 is powered by Android 13.1. In order to keep the Galaxy A14 5G running, Samsung included a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging capabilities. The firm claims it has a thickness of 9.1mm and a weight of around 204g.

There has been no release date announced for the other two rumored Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A34 5G or the Galaxy A54 5G. MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 is rumored to be the SoC powering the Galaxy A34 5G. The Galaxy A54 5G, meanwhile, is said to ship with the next-generation Exynos 1380 SoC.
