RisingWings, an independent studio of KRAFTON, has launched Defense Derby, a real-time strategy mobile game that brings a fresh twist to the tower defense genre. The game features exhilarating 4-player PvP battles, complex strategic challenges, intense psychological warfare, and dynamic synergy effects, offering a revitalized tower defense experience.
At the heart of Defense Derby lies the innovative “Betting Royale” genre, where players participate in a thrilling “scouting stage” to fiercely bid against competitors for securing units and forming their ultimate teams. These units are strategically placed within their fortress as players confront continuous monster attacks, striving to be the last one standing.
Defense Derby offers diverse game modes to enhance the gaming experience. The core Derby Mode centers around PvP battles, while Blitz Mode provides PvE challenges. The Valley of Trials presents a unique test with restricted unit selection.
Additionally, players can engage in Friendly Derby to challenge their friends, and the Themed Mode periodically shifts rules for a limited time. Upcoming updates will introduce the Ban Pick Mode, enabling players to block specific opponent units, and the Quest Mode, where players must survive the onslaught and complete specific quests.
