Reliance Jio has once again reinforced its dominance in Rajasthan’s telecom landscape, driven by the rapid expansion of its True 5G network and robust connectivity solutions. According to the latest data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio recorded a net addition of 79,406 new mobile subscribers in September 2025, the highest among all operators in the state. This surge takes Jio’s total wireless subscriber base to an impressive 2.69 crore, securing its position as Rajasthan’s No. 1 telecom operator.
Jio Leads the Pack in Wireless Growth
The latest TRAI report highlights Jio’s continued momentum, driven by its superior 5G coverage and high-speed data services. In comparison, BSNL added 13,134 new users, while Vodafone Idea and Airtel experienced declines, losing 1.20 lakh and 47,181 subscribers, respectively. Rajasthan’s overall wireless subscriber base now stands at 6.46 crore as of September 2025, with Jio commanding the largest share of active users.
Dominating the Wireline and Fixed Wireless Segments
Jio has also maintained its leadership in the wireline and fixed wireless category, further consolidating its position across all connectivity segments. The company currently serves 11.2 lakh wireline subscribers, significantly ahead of Airtel’s 4.88 lakh and Vodafone’s 10,225. Rajasthan’s total wireline base has now crossed the 20 lakh mark, reflecting rising demand for home broadband and enterprise connectivity solutions, where Jio continues to lead.
