Consistent is aligned with the vision of making India a global manufacturing hub by expanding our local production capabilities – Chandan Kumar, Vice President of Sales at Consistent Infosystems

Below is a transcript from a recent interaction between FYI9 News Correspondent and Mr. Chandan Kumar, Vice President of Sales at Consistent Infosystems.

Prateek: Consistent Infosystems has successfully expanded its footprint across India and beyond. Could you share insights into your current market share, and what regions or countries you are focusing on for future expansion?

Chandan Kumar: Consistent Infosystems has steadily gained a strong foothold in the Indian IT hardware market. While we are focused on solidifying our market share domestically, we have seen a positive response internationally, especially in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. These regions are our primary focus for future expansion. We’re leveraging our expertise in delivering cost-effective, high-quality products to meet the growing IT infrastructure demands in these regions. Our goal is to expand our presence in countries where there is a clear demand for reliable, locally-supported IT solutions.

Prateek: With a diverse portfolio of over 400+ products, which product categories have seen the highest demand, and what do you consider the key differentiators or USPs that set Consistent products apart from competitors?

Chandan Kumar: Our computing and surveillance product lines have seen particularly strong demand. In the computing sector, our RAMs, SSDs, and motherboards stand out due to their high performance and affordability. In surveillance, our cameras and networking equipment are trusted for their reliability and ease of installation. What sets Consistent apart from competitors is our commitment to quality, innovation, and after-sales support. We prioritize customer satisfaction and consistently bring new technologies to market while maintaining competitive pricing, making our products accessible without compromising on quality.

Prateek: Given the global push for localized manufacturing, what role can companies like Consistent play in making India a leading hub for IT hardware and semiconductor manufacturing? What challenges and opportunities do you foresee?

Chandan Kumar: Consistent is aligned with the vision of making India a global manufacturing hub. By expanding our local production capabilities, we are not only contributing to employment generation but also helping reduce import dependencies. The “Make in India” initiative presents tremendous opportunities for brands like us to scale up production, invest in R&D, and innovate locally. However, challenges like high component costs, the need for more advanced infrastructure, and skilled labor remain. Overcoming these hurdles through strategic partnerships and government support will be key to realizing India’s potential as a global manufacturing leader.

Prateek: With 24+ branches, 3500+ channel partners, and exports to 9+ countries, how are you ensuring that Consistent products are widely available and accessible? What strategies are in place to enhance your brand presence both domestically and internationally?

Chandan Kumar: We have built an extensive distribution network to ensure our products are available in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets. Our strategy revolves around forging strong relationships with channel partners, investing in localized marketing, and offering targeted promotions based on regional demands. Internationally, we are working closely with local distributors to establish a consistent supply chain and support infrastructure. We are also enhancing our digital presence to boost brand visibility and reach more customers globally. Our omnichannel approach ensures that customers can easily access our products through online platforms as well as brick-and-mortar stores.

Prateek: Consistent is active in sectors like gaming, computing, and surveillance. How do you plan to further strengthen your presence in these diverse areas, and are there any upcoming innovations or products we can expect in these segments?

Chandan Kumar: We are excited about the opportunities in gaming, computing, and surveillance, and we are continuously innovating to stay ahead. In gaming, we plan to introduce high-performance accessories and components tailored to the growing gaming community in India and abroad. In computing, we are expanding our range of SSDs and DDR5 RAM to cater to evolving consumer needs. In surveillance, we are focusing on AI-driven solutions, such as smart cameras with advanced analytics. Our upcoming products will not only enhance performance but also integrate the latest technologies to offer more value to our customers across these segments.
