HONOR Magic6 Pro with Cutting-edge 2nd Gen Silicon-carbon Battery Tech

HONOR announces the incorporation of the Second-generation Silicon-carbon Battery in its highly anticipated HONOR Magic6 Pro , set for a global launch on February 25th at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024.

Outstanding Performance in Extreme Conditions

The HONOR Magic6 Series, equipped with the Second-generation Silicon-carbon Battery, has demonstrated exceptional performance under extreme conditions. A -20℃ freezer test conducted by YouTuber PhoneBuff showcased superior endurance compared to devices from industry giants Apple and HUAWEI.

Even at a mere 10% battery capacity, the Magic6 Series outperformed competitors during activities such as photography and videography, providing an impressive 11 minutes of video shooting at -20℃.

Revolutionary 2nd Gen Silicon-Carbon Battery Technology

HONOR sets itself apart by introducing silicon-based negative electrode material in its Second-generation Silicon-carbon Battery, achieving a remarkable theoretical capacity of 3579mAh/g—ten times more than traditional graphite.

Building upon the success of the HONOR Magic5 Pro, the upgraded battery boasts an extraordinary 5600mAh capacity, surpassing rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The battery incorporates Nanostructured Silicon-carbon material and Microtunneling Laser Guidance Technology, enhancing stability and fast-charging capabilities. It achieves an impressive 6.0% increase in power density, elevating fast-charging capabilities from 66W to a remarkable 80W.

Enhanced Battery Performance with HONOR E1 Chip

The Second-generation Silicon-carbon Battery is powered by the advanced Power Enhanced Chip HONOR E1, offering sophisticated power management features. The chipset optimizes charging and discharging efficiency, adapts to various usage scenarios, and ensures precise power management, even in extreme environments.

Safety Assurance Through Rigorous Testing

Prioritizing safety and durability, HONOR subjects the Second-generation Silicon-carbon Battery to comprehensive testing, including environmental, reliability, and electrical tests. The battery holds prestigious certifications, including UK Conformity Assessed marking, CE marking, GB Standards, CNAS certification, and UN38.3 certification, meeting rigorous industry standards.
