GoTo has announced the promotion of Sivakumar Ekambaram as its new India Site Leader, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on India as a key global innovation and operations hub.
In his expanded role, Sivakumar will oversee GoTo’s India operations and long-term strategy, leading one of the organization’s most critical global centers. He will be responsible for strengthening India’s contribution to GoTo’s worldwide growth roadmap, spanning core platforms as well as next-generation technologies.
Expanded Leadership Role with Dual Responsibilities
Sivakumar brings over two decades of experience in the IT industry and nearly ten years of leadership at GoTo. A seasoned product engineering leader, he previously served as Senior Director of Engineering — a role he will continue alongside his new responsibilities as India Site Leader.
His expertise covers unified communications, remote support technologies, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven innovation. Under his leadership, the India team is expected to deepen its role in delivering execution excellence while accelerating development across emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and cloud-based solutions.

GoTo has increasingly positioned India as a vital global delivery and innovation center. With Sivakumar at the helm, the company aims to further scale engineering capabilities, expand cross-functional collaboration, and enhance its contributions to product development and platform innovation worldwide.
Prior to joining GoTo, Sivakumar held roles at leading global and Indian technology organizations, including IBM, Aztec Software, AOL, and Citrix, building deep expertise across enterprise software and cloud ecosystems.
